Hi folks
Due to some issues we are having with our ensuite, it is likely that the floor tiles will all have to come up - and naturally this also means the toilet and shower screen removed (the vanity is one of those 'wall hung' types so can probably stay put.
Thing is, if we do go down this path, we might like to take the opportunity to put down different tiles more to our taste (we bought this house fully renovated so didn't have any original input).
Thing is, I have removed tiles from solid plaster/brick walls before, and I know that sometimes/often, half the hard plaster comes off with the tile. How difficult (or easy) is it to remove tiles from plasterboard? Does it tend to rip chunks of the board off? Will we need to fully replace the plaster board walls?
Part of me not so concerned if that were the case because it would give me an opportunity to put some soundproofing up between our ensuite and baby boy's bedroom - but that's only on one wall - don't want to have to replace all tiled walls (two or three).
Anyway, do tiles come off easily from plasterboard walls?
Thanks, HHCIB
