Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement Re: LED vs energy saver lights 21Jul 04, 2011 11:16 am Brightgreen is by far one of the best LEDs out, I install them all the time just expensive for people looking to wait for the price drop on LEDs just install normal mr16 connection downlights with halo globes and wait, there are led lights with a mr16 connection which is a straight globe swap for all you with downlights, and are cheaper because u just have to buy the fitting. I have seen led globes with up to 65 degrees and the suppliers say a 5-7 watt is the same as a 50watt halo globe but If I was you I'd step up a few watts a 10-12 watt would be perfect replacement for halo globes, also brightgreen have a 17watt LED like a downlight and I must say it gives a lot of Dam light in a normal sized bedroom 4 of these would be perfect For all your electrical questions please pm me!
