Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Apr 04, 2011 10:42 am Hi guys
we have had a bit of a problem with a concreter who has not put enough slope on the concrete laid outside the garage so when it rains our garage floods. I am thinking of getting a drains/grill cut into the concrete outside the garage door to take the water away to a nearby drain. What sort of person would do this? a concreter or who? And can anyone recommend one in the Caroline Springs area of Melbourne? cheers Chris Re: what sort of tradie would do this? 3Apr 04, 2011 12:07 pm As it involves drainage then technically should be a plumber, though depending on who you get you may also want to look into getting a concrete cutter to cut the concrete to allow the drain to be fitted. You could have done it your self. I don't think a plumber is going to want to cur out the concrete., Re: what sort of tradie would help with this? 12Apr 15, 2011 9:47 pm we had our plumber do it, they usually have a jack hammer and all sorts of crazy drills to do the job....my plumber is actually pretty handy, i always thought they just did pipes and stuff!
