There is not a lot of space for things (and I'm a collector), but there is a long wall in the living area: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ So I am planning a wall unit approx 6.5m W x 2.7m H x 40cm D. This will be floor to ceiling, which is 2.7m. The design is based on the following designed and built by WoodnForm Perth. This will suit the floors which are engineered wood. I will leave the design of the wall unit facing largely to the designer. I also will need a computer desk as there is no room for a dedicated desk. I live by myself being widowed, and thinking of having international students in the spare room. For the computer desk, I am thinking a drop down desk built in the wall unit with mid tower computer in a cupboard next to the desk. The cupboard door being opened when the computer is on for ventilation. The drop down desk would be similar to this one sold on Etsy, though it will need to be made by woodnform as the dimensions needed are bigger. The end at the sliding doors to the balcony/veranda is a bit clumsy and it can't butt to the glass. I guess it could have a potted plant there or a standard lamp. For the main bedroom, I'm thinking similar around the bed space: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The apartment is at https://www.orchardterrace.com.au/ Any opinions and suggestions welcome.
