I'm a newbie to home renovation and was hoping to get some advice. If we wanted to understand which walls and columns are load bearing, is the first point of call to ask for a structural engineer report? Also interested in any armchair opinions based on the picture below.
What should we be expecting to pay for the structural engineer's advice?
