Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Apr 17, 2024 3:24 pm Hi all, Looking at one lot and saw the drainage easement mentioned in contract. The easement is 6ft wide next to fence, and looks like this 1950s house already built beside it. We are thinking of extending the house to further back with the same width. Will this still be a problem even though it will be next to and not on easement? Or the council has to approve it regardless? The sewage board is across the road. It is the drainage only, anyone have experience to deal with it or just leave it? Was interested about the lot but this does concerns me. Thanks.
