Hi,
I'll be starting on my verandah repair soon - replace ledger, rafters, roofing iron, flashing etc. (fascia board already done).
My question is about the timber ledger to be fitted against the front of the house that is brick.
Do I need type of damp course or waterproofing between the brick and timber?
If so, what product is recommended?
