I think I know the answer but just checking to see if anyone has had experience with it.
I want to build a small 20 square metre retreat in my backyard, it will have a little bathroom and a sort of living area for me to set up my craft items and a TV and couch, there won't be any cooking facilities but will have a sink as my crafting needs to have water.
The NSW planning codes (or whatever they are called) say sheds/cubby houses etc are except from DA's for this size - but is this a shed / cubby house?
I'm thinking they will call it a Granny Flat and then it's subject to being a second dwelling and requires all sorts of stuff that I can't afford.
I really just want to have a space in the backyard for my crafting etc
