We have purchased our first home (Sydney) and have already done some tests on the eaves and elec box for asbestos (both came back positive). The internal walls are made of this plaster board that contains what looks like coconut fibres (?). Does anyone know when they used this kind of plasterboard and if it ever contained asbestos? I has no Asbestos in it. Houses before 1985 have Asbestos. You should get a proper survey as there are many locations where Asbestos could be present.
