Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Oct 05, 2023 2:56 pm I was looking at a place on real estate.com https://www.realestate.com.au/property- ... -143259860 I don't know anything about home renovation and was wondering if a house like this can be "saved" because it looks like it can be saved lol. I like the structure and interior layout but it needs a lot of work. So my questions are this: 1. To assure the integrity of the structure, what work and inspections would need to be done? Who would i need to hire for these works? 2. What activities can be DIY. My father in law has quiet a bit of experience in flooring and painting. Hes also an electrician and is keen to help us. 3. Would it be possible to add an additional bedroom to this house to turn it into a 4 bedroom? Thanks Re: Newbie to Home renovation: DIY? 2Oct 16, 2023 1:27 pm Trumpylovesmexicans I was looking at a place on real estate.com https://www.realestate.com.au/property- ... -143259860 I don't know anything about home renovation and was wondering if a house like this can be "saved" because it looks like it can be saved lol.
