Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Dec 15, 2022 8:22 am Hello! I'm looking into options for covering the 1970's yellow brick on my mum's coastal Adelaide home. Rendering is out of our budget, are there any other approaches anyone can recommend? I was going to paint it, but then I was reading mixed reviews on painting (it traps humidity etc). The brick itself is also very smooth, is there a method to emulate an rougher brick texture? Attached are some pictures, the dirty bricks are leftover from my former step-father's failed attempt at rendering. Thank you!
