Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement Re: Help please! Extend or renovate? We need some vision 5Mar 12, 2022 11:31 pm Netts Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure how much detail to provide but here's a bit more info We have an initial budget of around $200k but will be able to save some smaller amounts over time. e.g. we would be able to save for a bathroom reno so wouldn't need that done initially. It's more about getting a bit more space sooner rather than later. We're open to all sorts of ideas such as pods, linked extensions, pop-outs etc. But not really sure what direction to go because we don't know how far that budget will stretch yet. A bit more detail about the house.... The laundry/toilet is brick on limestone foundations but the sleep out is fibro (maybe asbestos or who knows what). It's all original and under the main roof but it has a different pitch over that part of the house. Here's the aerial with approx. setbacks. There are houses that are built closer to the front than this. Building on the side fence (with no setback) is allowed on 1 side I think AerialLike ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We're in Perth so hot summers and can get cool winter nights.
