Hi Guys, I am all finished with the house and living for last 2 months. However I realised that I need a side garage entrance door.
In order to get the side entrance door, do I need to get a council approval ?
If not, what are the possible thing that I should consider here.
I have attached the engineering design and I cannot seem to find any support point , where the red mark is (where the door will go).
Does that mean I just need to get a flat bar 110+cm for a 90+ wide door.
I am thinking of putting this door: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/203013280940

Hey Buildone Welcome to the forum
Assuming you'll be placing structural lintels, then yes you will, best to give the council a call
The problem with 2D footing plans is they don't always include details of other structural elements ie frames above
here's a typical 3D Engineering Bim detail , though it will have to be checked with what has been built and certified
