We just want to enlargen the bathroom width about 300mm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The bathroom having a flat ceiling will need to support the ceiling joists in the stud wall. The previous stud wall only had a beam notched into it support the ceiling joists. The rest of the wall looked like a standard non load bearing wall. Is this sufficient when I build the replacement wall or is more required? Thanks for all replies. I just noticed now the pictures I added to post right on top of page were wrong.
