I am planing to extend an old building that was dealt a nasty blow in a storm 9 months ago. The insurance has accepted the liability for the repairs but they can not find an engineering solution that a builder can warrant, thus a cash settlement and my doing the work. I have a plan on a beer coaster but want to make it refined and shinier before i take it to an architect and have every thing bar the colour changed. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
