Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Nov 01, 2020 3:20 pm Hi all, We're looking to add a storeroom onto the exterior of our house, see photos of the space below: Photo A: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Photo B: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ There are three main things that I want to do: 1) frame and floorboard the floor, 2) frame and wall the open space to the right of the short brick wall in photo B from the floor up to the existing ceiling, 3) frame and wall opposite the red internal door. This storeroom would end flush with the left-side of the timber window casing in Photo A. I've had a look through Schedule 1 of the Planning and Development Regulation 2008 which deals with development approval exemptions, and I think that this WOULD need a development approval: but I'm not sure, and would appreciate some feedback.
