Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jan 16, 2019 7:46 am Basically we have an issue with water running down under the house and causing water damage on our lowest floor (fairly extensive damage). We've spoken to the insurance company and we're covered for the damage, but we need to get a solution in place first to stop the issue. We've spoken to our builder (we recently renovated) and he's suggested a small low wall at the front to divert the water down the side of our place, this makes sense and we're fine with it, but the insurance assessor suggested we get a specialist in do the work, just so we can get a certificate of work and all that jazz. I'm just not really sure who (what profession) to speak to about this? A drainage person? Just hoping for some suggestions if possible? Thanks! Give Jonathan a call. Tell him you know me. He is in my opinion the best surveyor I have ever worked with.
