Browse Forums Safer Living 1 Jun 03, 2020 5:57 pm Hi All, First time poster here. My partner and I are building with Wisdom Homes (our first build). At our Canvas Quarter appointments we were quoted for a security door on our sliding doors facing onto the alfresco. However, we only have ordinary fly screens on the windows (some of which are quite large). Is it silly to get a security door if we haven't secured the windows with security screens? We intend on keeping all doors and windows closed during nights/when we're out of the house and to install an alarm system. Thanks Re: Security door with ordinary fly screens on windows 2Oct 09, 2020 12:18 am it seems to me that in this case you need to think about more durable glass. I heard there are such in our market. Have you considered this option? Otherwise it will be useless, as for me. Hello!) Would be cheaper to get rid of the cats (or in my case dog)... unfortunately, the other half didn't take kindly to that suggestion. 3 1368
