Carbon Monoxide detecter

Hey guys, I recently happened to read a blog about the advantages of installing carbon monoxide detector in a house, http://www.sleepwellsecurity.ca/blog/se ... ctor-home/. This has got me curious, is it actually necessary to get a carbon monoxide detector at home? Are we at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning at home?
Had me wondering too.... surely in a modern house, there should be enough natural ventilation going on through the gaps in the window frames.

I'm thinking the best place for on of these detectors would be in the garage or in the hallway where the internal access to the garage is.

If you have ICE (Internal Combustion Engines) running near the house on a regular basis, I dare say that's a good spot to put one inside the house near where they are located.
oh and of course if you have a combustion stove in the house.

That's interesting, a capital O at the start of the line gives you that smiley emoticon
