Thank you for considering Panther Protect. For security screen / mesh doors and windows, the differentiating factors are how the frame look and how the mesh is held/ locked onto the frame. Panther Protect is using a self locking/ jamming frame design (without screws) and is heavier than most other conventional security door frames. Screw is made of steel and when screwed into aluminium frame can cause galvanic corrosion over time (one metal corrodes preferentially to another when both metals are in contact). Panther Protect frame has a bull nose (curved) shape compared with the sharp squarish shapes in most other door and window frame designs from other Security Door & Window suppliers/ manufacturer. We think curved shape looks better in some instances.
