Most places have it for around $1999 and Computer Warehouse has it for $1610 - not sure if that is the best we can find it for. We are in Melbourne. Would you also suggest we have someone install this and if so, does anyone have a contact in the Western suburbs? They are a bit more pricey ($2k each) Apparently a lot of the cameras suggested so far in the thread won't really stand up to clear facial recognition over long distances (I have a 50m boundary to consider) After 4 years - we're in! I personally have had great experiances with software that's free for up to 2 camera's called xprotect, fantastic interface, fantastic connectivity/streaming to mobile phones, works with many cheap ($400 for 3mp) camera's. can I highly recommend you wire Cat 5 EVERYWHERE you can, best suggestion yet is running conduit to everywhere to a central/secure location for your gear.
