Browse Forums Safer Living Re: NESS SECURITY PRODUCTS 4Apr 02, 2011 6:39 am Hi, I haven't had any direct experience with the R16, but basically it is a self-contained radio version of the D16 panel. It only has a single hard-wired input. The keypad and the alarm panel are built-in to one unit, rather than having a separate control panel and keyboard connected by cables as is common with most alarms. This makes the keypad quite a bit bulkier than the normal alarm pad This product is most suitable for small installations or installations where running cables is difficult - such as an apartment. Is there a particular reason why you are interested in the R16?
