When going out together, one person leaves keys (and keyfob) behind, as they are not driving. This allows intruder to deactivate alarm with keyfob (admittedly once it has initially triggered). Can it do rolling alarm garage doors? If so, how? Dunno...our door has a rolling code alarm...there's an extra button on the fob which operates the door. If so, how? Most alarm systems are set up to open garage doors by connecting directly to the contacts on the motor itself. The button on the alarm fob triggers a relay on the alarm that acts like the internal switch you can have in the garage. The wireless system of the garage door opener isn't used at all.
