Browse Forums Safer Living 1 Jun 28, 2010 12:52 pm We are currently researching the different types of security meshes for security doors and have read the previous thread about Crimsafe vs Clearshield but just wondering if anybody has anything else to add about the difference between the woven mesh such as Crimsafe, Amplimesh etc and the punched holes mesh type of Alu Guard and Clearshield etc. We have had quotes so far on Alu Guard and Invis guard (made by same company i found out) and there is a fair bit of difference between the two yet one sales guy told me there is no difference in the actual security - more about the look. Another guy told me the punched holes type was no good and corroded easily! Does anybody have any further information about these types please? Particularly in Perth. Many thanks Re: Security Meshes for security doors 2Jun 29, 2010 8:04 am There are many more grilles/meshes including galvanised steel which is much cheaper. I would ignore the corrosion comment, the same guarantee applies.
