Browse Forums Safer Living 1 Apr 10, 2010 2:48 am Hi there, I am new to this forum and would like to seek some opinions. I have recently installed those diamond security screens to the sliding panels of the windows at my place. However, I am still concern about intruders breaking the glass of the other unprotected fixed windows and is thinking of complementing the grills by applying security film. Has anyone with experience with such product ? does it work ? I am in brisbane and if there's any brand / contractor to recommend at all..that would be great ! thanks ! It won't be very secure because it is not applied to the edges, so can break easily at the join to the window section, and your windows are rubber glazed so the glass is not bonded to the window section, so the whole glass pane is easily removed.
