Browse Forums Safer Living Re: all doors same key 8Sep 25, 2009 9:12 pm I had window locks, patio bolts, and deadlocks all keyed to the same key. I have since learnt that they can do padlocks off the same key, so I got 2 for the side gates, so every lock in my house uses the same key. All of this was done at the local locksmith - for a very reasonable cost - they were actually cheaper than bunnings for the window locks too. Don't underestimate a locksmith, or assume they will be too expensive. Some people suggest that having the same key for all locks is too risky if you lose your key - you have to change every single lock, but my reasoning is that if you're carrying the traditional bunch of multiple keys for all your locks, you're in the same boat anyway.
