But is feeling good It amazes me how good Geelong are considering they don't really have a forward line...I can't wait for the Saints/Cats game, I think it will be amazing My karma ran over your dogma Re: Unwanted door-knockers! 22May 26, 2009 7:26 pm well he is young enough to have one more club left in him if that were to happen... but he would fit nicely in our forward line with campbell and thomas.. royal blue is so much nicer than navy blue... and vertical stripes are heaps nicer than horizontal ones.. I asked first! No no, the hoops are to go, much more flattering. Navy goes with so much more than your blue (royal my butt). haywgl It amazes me how good Geelong are considering they don't really have a forward line...I can't wait for the Saints/Cats game, I think it will be amazing Felt like a loss against the doggies last week. What an awful game. Saints didn't do the best again the Lions... who we pelted early this season... Saints v Cats should be a good one though, but I'm more worried about our second clash with the Doggies in Rd21. My swannies supporter friend made a comment about me not celebrating after the cats/swans game at the cattery the other week. Similar comment you just made haha. Hmmm... Re: Unwanted door-knockers! 28May 26, 2009 7:59 pm I do know what it is like though.. I got greedy myself in the 90's.. we always finished in the top 4 for about 7 years straight and I thought most games we were average... I got so used to carey's brilliance that he could kick 5 or 6 goals and I didn't notice him standing out.. I was very lucky to have had the greatest ever player in the games history as our captain and only now do I realise how good he was.. I got greedy myself in the 90's.. we always finished in the top 4 for about 7 years straight and I thought most games we were average... I haven't always been this way... I didnt celebrate until after the final siren in the 07 premiership, regardless of how many goals up we were... as I just kept remembering the Cats/Eagles game from the season or two before when we had a lead of 10 goals going into the second half and lost the match! joles wakeboardandy I was very lucky to have had the greatest ever player in the games history as our captain and only now do I realise how good he was.. I tried that once, the first couple walked away but then for the rest of the day I had more coming to try and help me find God, till I said that I might be interested if they could find him under the couch.... I'll have to do that one day! As for door knockers, it drives me nuts! One day someone knocked wanting to change all my light bulbs! Ummm no thanks, most of them are already energy saving ones... I don't want strangers coming into my place when I am alone! Then two weeks later someone came knocking saying that if I have my whole house on energy saving light bulbs I can get a discount - what a scam! I try not to be rude, I tell them I am on a contract and that normally gets rid of most of them. My old phone number used to get sooooooo many people calling and it got to the point I refused to answer the home phone as some nights I would get multiple calls from different companies - urgh! thank god for the Do Not Call Register! oooh reminds me I will have to do that when I move!
