However sq metres sell houses. Either way after just one year I can't see you making your money back. Using my LG-G4 to bring you this update. We are building in a very desirable area, one of the last blocks in a 5 year development surrounded by parks and with amazing views, there are now no more blocks left there at all. Our neighbour is a valuer and he is also building to sell and he is talking in the range of $30-$40,000 profit. His block is identical to ours and our houses will be very similar. We also have the figures from 3 houses in the next street over that were built as investments. They are on much smaller blocks and are pretty nasty looking but sold for crazy amounts.
