Greetings all.
This is my first post after reading through many great posts on these forums.
My problem is that I am looking to give a rendered look to my current brickwork. I was thinking of using the thick render type paint to provide a quick result.
The mortar gaps, in my brick work are large, about 12 to 14 mm, with some of the brick edges broken away. Therefore a lot of this paint would be needed to fill these gaps to give an even look.
I was thinking that if I could fill the mortar by bagging or similar, and rub back to a level finish, then when it has set coat the bricks and the joins with the texture paint.
Does anybody know if this is possible and what materials would be best to fill in these gaps in the mortar.
Thanks in advance
Bruce.
