Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Jun 25, 2019 9:16 am In mid-July, I will begin my shed to studio flat conversion. I'm waiting for detailed drawings, so in the meantime have created a very basic floorplan and list of the order in which I think things need to be done (obviously a lot of detail missing at this stage). I wondered if anyone could please take a look and let me know if my build order is okay or if I need to shuffle things a bit. https://imgur.com/a/FQ9UH4H PS Obviously, I am a novice OB. I will not be doing the bulk of the work. I'll be a general hand on site. But I'll also be responsible for purchasing and ensuring materials are on site when needed. One thing I am unsure about is where the external cladding fits into the timeline. Obviously it needs to wait until the roller door is removed and a new wall/windows framed in. I also need a new window cut for the bathroom and a new door for the storage room. The shed already has good fibre cement cladding (not asbestos), but since we're going to be messing with it anyway I figured I might as well reclad it to match the weatherboard main house. Thanks both for the response - its allowed me to focus on the conduit only so fingers crossed the builder sees sense! Thanks again 3 901 It depends, firstly who the lender is and secondly what you actually want upgraded 1 632 Thanks Kev, Our display centre is based in Wangara, As the house plan is displayed within a facility of over 800sqm, you are able to position furniture and temporary… 11 1941 |
