I'm almost set to start my shed to granny flat conversion as an owner-builder. I'm trying to keep my costs to an absolute minimum, because I'm paying for it out of my retirement money.
I'd be open to bartering my writing, design and editing expertise to help subsidise building costs.
Just wondered if anyone has done anything similar.

On a negative note, I think you'll find writing, design and editing expertise are being automated & replaced by apps,
the skills in demand for battering are those that are licensed and trade based
On a positive note a garage conversion for airbnb will help with extra retirement money
$70K (Garage and Unit) outlay will yield +10% ROI in the right location
