Anyone else in here actually doing the build rather than just managing it? 9 months in, and so far the only trades other than plumber and sparky has been roofers. Just wondering how many owner builders are actually building vs project management?

Taking back the real definition of "Owner Builder".
One year in now. Ours is not as challenging as yours looks to be but we are doing everything ourselves. The only professional we've used was a grano to help us lay the concrete pads. We're even producing most of the materials ourselves.
We'll be at lockup in the next few months but wont be fully complete for another year....ish.

Looks like an awesome build. Sparks imagination seeing such site.
These days, I prefer not to do anything my self at all. If something needs doing I get people to do it for me.
And this includes projects, I got a builder who looks after things, gives me updates daily.
Life is therefore simpler now.
I talk about properties here:

Looks cool! Mine's on post as well.
I was thinking about doing more myself at first, but my build is too challenging. I got a project manager who's also a builder to look after things. I learn new things everyday. lol Still life is hard for me coz there are so many things to decide.
