Just an update on this. So i have recieved my order, ended up choosing Bradford optimo system that uses plastic saddles that sit over the joists.
Saddles are 45mm & my joists are 50mm and they suggested i break the saddles in half..
Decided against securing from bottom of josts as the gap between floor & batts will attract vermin such as mice & rats.
