Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Oct 04, 2018 8:10 am I've passed my owner builder course with flying colours and it looks like I'm well on my way to becoming an owner builder! To ensure that I have some idea of the actual technical knowledge of what it takes to construct a home I am searching for reference materials, preferably hard copy. I've already got a copy of Building Your Own Home by George Wilkie and I'm expecting my bundle pack of Allan Staines building guides any day now but I would like to know if anyone has purchased and used the owner builder planning kits from the website below? Are they worth it? I'm building in NSW https://www.ownerbuild.com.au/online-st ... nning-kits Can anyone recommend any other resources, online or hard copy, that they found useful when undertaking their owner builder project (besides, obviously, this fantastic homeone forum!)? Happy you got it sorted out. cheers Simeon 6 8622 in the stormwater pit or the drain? Those dont look like theyd fit in the drain. Separately, the pits do get stuff in them during the course of the build. For the most… 1 7912 |
