I've passed my owner builder course with flying colours and it looks like I'm well on my way to becoming an owner builder!
To ensure that I have some idea of the actual technical knowledge of what it takes to construct a home I am searching for reference materials, preferably hard copy. I've already got a copy of Building Your Own Home by George Wilkie and I'm expecting my bundle pack of Allan Staines building guides any day now but I would like to know if anyone has purchased and used the owner builder planning kits from the website below? Are they worth it? I'm building in NSW

Can anyone recommend any other resources, online or hard copy, that they found useful when undertaking their owner builder project (besides, obviously, this fantastic homeone forum!)?

The problem with Generic Data, Information, Photos, etc is that " One size doesn't fit all projects and this is old outdated technology"
I do recommend 3D BIM (Building Information Modelling) Formats for hard copies ie Pdfs and VR for mobile devices for use on site when building & Inspecting, for Material, Hardware & Labour selection, for "What If simulations". etc,etc
Here are my Top BIM tip
1.Pick a BIM file format that is easily translated without loss of Data, Try sketchup 3D it's free, then load it up
2.Make sure the final Model covers the full AEC (Architectural ENGINEERING Construction) DATA spectrum
3.Your project Data should include, Specifications, Notes, Proofs , Quants, costings, Planning, etc
4.Consider Google Sheets as it links everything (in 3 above) to the internet
Here's an example for Brickwork Data
