Pity about the guy doing the verandahs, good luck with the new one! Re: 1st time ob what a ride 216Jul 08, 2010 1:12 pm once again trying to get tradies who are reliable is a nightmare up here there either too busy or too lazy so we are forced to tackle jobs we really dont want to do for example doors grrr hate doors they are a nightmare to get right but after talking to a few old guys in town they suggested going to the mens shed in town and seeing what they can do.well very glad we did because all we have to do now is mark the doors and trims for hinges and handle positions then take it all down to them so they can check them out and put it all together then all we need to do is put them in place and at only $10.00 per door we are more then happy taking front door down there now so we can finally get a front door put on friday woohooo stay safe happy building Re: 1st time ob what a ride 217Jul 08, 2010 10:48 pm Hi Shelley, who is fitting the doors to the frames? There is usually more to hanging doors than fitting a lock and checking out the hinges. I hope the guys at the shed can help you, $10 a door is a bargin.
