Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum Re: 1st time ob what a ride 381May 25, 2012 5:24 pm wow how time flys havnt been on here in forever wish i could say the house was totally finished but its nearly there sadly moving in did the opposite to our motivation and we got lazy lol but we have been hammering along this past month. the kitchens done laundrys completed all bedrooms done bathroom nearly finished and about 500 little touch up jobs too do. im off to new zealand in september so trying to get house on the market before i leave will update and do pics as soon as i find time too scratch my butt lol stay safe happy building Re: 1st time ob what a ride 382May 26, 2012 11:46 pm we seem to be in the same position!!! We moved in and breathed a sigh of relief and rested!!!! We have got a squillion jobs still to do. Our mirrors are only being fitted on Thurs in the bathrooms!!!! We haven't chosen towel rails etc .... Im fussy. We still have major issues with our floor but all in all everything else is great. What a tribute to all your hard work - you guys are real troupers despite all the setbacks. You created something to be very proud of. We are just at the very beginning of our OB journey - still at the mud map design stage! But we do have one advantage most OB's don't have - we're building in our backyard on our 2.5acre block so we won't have rent $$ going out the door which we are very thankful for.
