For a start you can straighten the alignment so the finish is flat and will be a lot easier to attach the boards to battens at the correct spacing than the steel. Thankyou! Good advice. Re: Installing cedar ceiling lining on steel frame 5Oct 28, 2017 7:05 pm make sure all the roofing is covered with some sort of barrier to prevent condensation dripping onto the cedar. Its always better to coat the side that goes towards the roofing material too. Helps prevent warping, but cedar is pretty stable.
