As long as the bore hole is not in middle of your future garden then it is ok. That's more for rural blocks where no one is around you or for locations where you are facing the ocean. Love this forum 😀 Re: Owner builder - advice on getting a soil report. 6Aug 23, 2017 9:25 am Cazthebuilder Your local shire should have a checklist for planning and also building But Generally you will need a Contour survey, soil geotech report, Engineering wind loading and a good design,specs,etc. Also please give some serious consideration to having your design & Engineering done in 3D Modelling software, ie Building information Modelling (BIM) The BIM can be used to extract data & Information such as Areas, Quants , costs, processes, details & Simulations. IMO a must for OBs.It can also help with Time wasting Trades?
