Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Apr 24, 2017 5:36 pm Hi We are building our property and are looking very closely at the above for a building material for the outside of our home. It looks very good and the reviews we have seen states its very good for noise and heating and cooling. Does this cost more than bricks or less, not sure as I don't understand the lengths and all, can't hit a nail in straight, would building with this also mean that to lock up stage would be quicker? Also there are alot of different types of this cladding, is there another one we should look into other than the Scyon Stria? An insulated standard 90mm stud timber frame can have an R value of around 2.7. Even if you insulate a… 17 12002 The spacing of the studs looks pretty large especially for a load bearing wall. 3 11106 Re my second point – yes exactly. And often it may take additional time if the manufacturer recommends no more than X meters… 3 5617 |
