Hi all, here is what I have on my mind; we have converted a triple garage into teenage retreat as owner builder on our both names.
Unfortunately my husband got made redundant, so he lost his job and we are forced to sell.
Our plan is to find our self a piece of land in a cheaper area and build a kit home, we would do that mortgage free and here comes our problem, officially you can not build within 5 years again as an owner builder, but this would be our only way to have our own home again, would this be one of the special circumstances that they allow you to build again in NSW?
If anyone knows or was in the same situation, please let me know!
