Does anyone have any recommendations on using Foilboard vs standard bats, or possibly using both together to get even better insulation? This is for a brick veneer home in Gisborne South, Vic.
Thanks

Thanks Re: Foilboard vs Standard Bats or Both (brick veneer) 2May 27, 2016 1:35 pm It really depends on how high an R-value you want for your walls and how much you are willing to spend on achieving that . In a colder climate like Victoria I'd definitely use both to get the R-value as high as possible. Combined with a ceiling value of minimum R-4.5 and you would have a toasty warm house. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=63593 for some more info.
