It's a bugger to deal with isn't it. Interested on your retaining wall - we have to do 2m. What material you using? Hi Turnerbuild, My retaining wall is made of H block work and core fill. My wall is pretty high at around 2.7m so we had to core fill on two separate occasions. Behind the retaining wall I have 2 wrapped pvc agg pipe and 10&20mm aggregates right to the top. Note: if you have any plumbing that sits on the of these aggregates you better speak with your plumber because the Fair Trade plumbing inspector didn't like how the pipes are sitting on non-compressed ground so we have to do extra concrete for this.
