Carpenter has provided me a quote with the eaves framework and the eaves installation but not fascia. Just want to make sure he doesn't need to come back and install the eaves AFTER the fascia to save trouble and time from my end. Thanks. The fascia is installed first. It has a small rebate in the back into which the eaves lining slides. Any recommendations? I've seen them on the side of the road near constructions site before. I'm excited to see and follow your progress. Yeh your plans suggest your block is quite steep. Is it a split storey home? Looking forward to seeing more pics. He gave me a suggestion but it totally went over my head but it involves: socked-pvc pipe, concrete spoon, agg pipe, Y-joint to either the PVC or the Agg pipe. He said this way you'll prevent clogging up with soil and i'll need to build a pit down the hill to clean up the mud every so often. Does any OB or builders know what he is suggesting? Thanks heaps. We were actually scheduled for our ground slab to be poured today but 'cause of the weather uncertainty we had to reschedule it until next week or the week after. I've learnt quite a few things since so I'm going to share every single detail over here - including how I could have saved money and what I would do better next time (if next time).
