My hardworking Hombre. Helped his dad in doing skirtings all day and still opted to grout 75% of the house after so we can move out stuff from bedrooms to here to clear for the carpet. Well, he was just gonna use up his mix but it uses stuff all grout. Opened a 20kg bag of Magellan grey. Lol! Too bad, cannot return it now.
Anyway, grout is 50-50 mixture of Misty and Magellan grey.

Grouting all finished. Just needs to polish tiles more, still a bit dusty.
Amazing how the tiles look like the concrete floor.
Skirting boards finished. Will call carpet tomorrow. We are told to give them 3 days upon calling so we will have time to clean up the rooms.
Office has July Sky double strength trims
All bedrooms (and main living) have Soft Apparition trims
Home theatre has Tasman Blue trims. Hopefully it all ties in together once the carpet and theatre chairs go in.

Finally caught up
Wow...if I need to put it in one sentence "I want to build again.. an exact copy of yours"
Amazing choices... so evident that you put your heart and soul in every choice you have made
That entrance door (or media room door?) .. great choice and size. Love the tile colour and the powerpoints.
Your media room will put mine to shame...good thinking on floor powerpoints for recliners...
How far are you from finishing?

Thanks BB and Reg!
Reg, aww you are too nice! Your house is ❤️. I actually have a few things that I am not quite sure about in our house. A couple as examples are our ensuite layout and the size/layout of the main living. Anyway, we will see how it goes once we are living in the house.
The frame with the Tasman Blue paint? Yep, that's where the media room door goes in.
I am sure your home theatre will be the bomb Reg! You have put a lot of thought into your media room, I am sure the acoustics will be awesome!
I think that's one advantage of being OB, having a chance to try out stuff and not be too rushed when making choices. On the other hand, it's taken us a while. But happy that we are nearly there. We have the carpet going in on Friday. Yay! Our plumber also will come back this week when there is a nice day to install the Solar hot water and the rest of the fitouts.
So weekend will be interesting.
Hope you are enjoying your home sweet home! Looking forward to the home theatre pics with the led strip around windows.

Bummer about our Solar Hot water not delivered in time so plumber will just come back once it is in and also do the rest of our fitouts.
Carpet is being installed right now!!! And because I am so excited, I am putting photos of it in progress. Our skirtings in the bedrooms are lifted so you still see them once the carpet is put in.

More carpet photos. Love our carpet but especially in our master and wir. Sooo nice!
Master and WIR
Home theatre. The installer has done a great job with our powerpoint on the floor. He reckons he hasn't done any like that in a residential home, normally only in commercial.

Vacuuming the carpet rooms. I have literally vacuumed the two guest bedrooms for more than 10x each already. I think I might have to do a few more until my trusty Dyson is not lifting any fuzz anymore.
I feel overwhelmed by the amount of cleaning we have to do. I just think of Hombre who probably has been feeling that all throughout our build. Cleaning is then nothing in the grand scheme of things. And it's only in the beginning anyway, then the upkeep. I will have one of those iRobots, that's for sure.

Looking FABULOUS Twy. You and H have gunned it. LOVE LOVE it all! I may have to come up to visit for sure
TC! For sure, that would be awesome! Hope you and Mr TC are well. You still jetsetting? By the way, it's a shame about photobucket. I was looking at your thread the other day (was looking for a photo) and photos don't show up.

Plumber is in as we speak to install our hot water system and the rest of our fitouts. Yay!
Anyway, just for fun, we did set up our back bedroom. Not yet complete (ie no curtains, bed head etc) so will not show the whole room. Just happy that my 2 smiley side tables are out of storage.
