Will be great to have some space for supplies and hardware. Are you going to move in whilst you build? using Tapatalk Re: Owner Building Rammed Earth home in Jimboomba 26Nov 18, 2015 7:07 pm So been a while, we've been having hassles with the shed company that is building our shed. Re: Owner Building Rammed Earth home in Jimboomba 31Dec 05, 2015 9:04 pm Shed is a workshop, and electrical is cheap comparatively, so i put in enough for anything i may wish to do, including 5x 3 phase outlets are going in along with the standard outlets. got most of the wall insulation in today Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Owner Building Rammed Earth home in Jimboomba 32Dec 07, 2015 9:03 am Good to see you've insulated the walls. You'll be so glad that you've done that in years to come, even if the shed is only used as a workshop then. I'm assuming the roof was insulated after you took those photos too. Re: Owner Building Rammed Earth home in Jimboomba 34Dec 12, 2015 5:42 pm Started putting up the battens for the ceiling. Taken a bit longer than expected, was aiming to have them all in today, however only made it half way before calling it for the day. Done 450 centers insulation bats to put in after we get the rest up. then on to lining. Does anyone know and decent suppliers for plasterboard? We've run a few and only one has gotten back with a quote, and the big green shed is at least $200 cheaper than their quote.
