Great idea getting your brick fence done now. Lovely touch leaving your marks on the concrete Re: Our OB project...Fence footings and locked up 448Nov 23, 2015 5:49 am Letter box in the wall will look amazing. I wish we could have that. We will be having a crappy letterbox on top of the common driveway instead Re: Our OB project...Garage doors 449Dec 01, 2015 11:16 am Steady progress on site over last week. Lower window sills/ headers and various other brick fixes done, last of the house brick cleaning around the garage, rain garden dug ready for plumbing, and the thing i'm most happy about...garage doors installed! They look awesome! Not sure how much more we will get done before christmas but will see how we go. Headers on the alfresco BBQ area Garage doors on! Drive through. Looks really narrow in this photo but the singles are actually 2600 wide. The double ended up 5000 x 2520. Front facade almost done. Brick fence to go! The mailbox for the front fence Re: Our OB project...garage doors on 450Dec 02, 2015 12:49 am Your facade looks stunning great brick work (sorry if you are sick of hearing it, actually it is quite brilliant!!!) viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Our OB project...garage doors on 451Dec 02, 2015 5:40 am Franky40 Your facade looks stunning great brick work (sorry if you are sick of hearing it, actually it is quite brilliant!!!) viewtopic.php?t=78985 LOL...could never get sick of hearing it! It was by far the most expensive part of the house and what took the longest so it would want to look good! Happy to see the brick layer back today doing our front fence Re: Our OB project...garage doors on 452Dec 03, 2015 12:01 am Looking very good! In before christmas...maybe not Re: Our OB project...garage doors on 453Dec 03, 2015 6:32 am You had the ultra floor bearers and joists! I confused them with the hebel floors haha. Sorry. So the same bricky is doing your fence? Nice! Looking forward to pics Re: Our OB project...garage doors on 454Dec 03, 2015 1:26 pm kasra nedlands Looking very good! In before christmas...maybe not Ha ha! Definitely not in before Christmas! That was the original plan but bricklaying took way longer than expected and now we have no gyprocker. Looks like we will have to end up doing it ourselves. We have the skills to do a great job of it ourselves just lacking the time with full time work unfortunately. Yes we have the same bricklayer doing the front fence that bricked the house so I told him this morning I expect the same perfect job LOL! Re: Our OB project...garage doors on 457Dec 04, 2015 6:28 am I agree with tc. The garage doors do suit the house quite well! Abztronic I agree with tc. The garage doors do suit the house quite well! I'm sure your fence turns put just as awesome as the house Thanks TC, Abztronic and twylamc. Going against the grain by not putting wood look garage doors on (no pun intended ) it should all tie in nicely though once the front fence goes up. Brick fence is having surfmist slats in between the piers to match the garage doors, windows and fascia. Fence started yesterday. Cant wait to see it! twylamc Your house is really coming along so well! Doesnt feel like it is coming along.
