I'm wondering if thy would be any good around my boundary fence or whether they would mess with the grass and colourbond. You've sold me on spray painting our fence dark!! They are as non invasive as it gets. That's why they are perfect as boundary plants. I'll be getting a really big snow pear in tomorrow. I'll put up some pics. Would you believe our fence colour is black. Initially I painted it Dulux domino which is almost black but then repainted it black. Black or dark colours create great contrast with greens. As some of you may notice I gave up with the herringbone idea as it would just take too long. I'm really happy with it though. The teak will grey soon. I will plant dianella sp below the decking to create contrast. They will be lit up with led strips. This should create a floating effect. Several hours of hard work and suddenly it's all done. The rain ended up only being a drizzle until we finished and then hammered down.
