Browse Forums Owner Builder Forum 1 Jul 11, 2014 7:31 pm hi all, i've had a bit of an issue, as I first had a quote for fascia/gutter by another company who had sent me a detailed quote and they supply/install metal barge and barge gutter.. We decided to award the works fascia/gutter/roofing to one particular company... I believe now the metal barge/barge gutter has been missed been trying to google what it looks like, i just have valleys atm.. is the metal barge and barge gutter critical? thks. All the ridges and hips will have concrete ridges. Metal barges to me are a reference to gable ends. A metal fascia is another matter and is simply installed on the end of the rafters with a gutter or barge gutter fitted on to that. I think something has been lost in translation here. Instead of having a barge tile that wraps over from the roof down the front of the barge fascia, there is a gutter that sits behing the barge fascia, it's purely a looks thing and means you dont see a barge tile.
