Initially was looking at hardwood (brushbox/spotted gum) however been talked out of it, as it's setting around $80/m2-$100/m2 supply/install and the sales assistant did raise a valid point, after all upstairs all we'll be doing is going to sleep.. Hence he suggested some cheaper alternatives, i.e. Bamboo/Laminate/Engineered wood Which would set us around $50/m2 supply/installed... What would you guys think? kinda trying to stay away from Bamboo as heard from people it'll release toxins/fumes etc?? So either looking into Engineered wood / Laminate and both of these are now available in hardwood colours, i.e jarah, spotted gum etc... Looked into Inovar floor (HQ/Manufacturing plant in Malaysia) and Verdura Flooring.. Many thanks!..
